So I’ve been getting quite a number of customs making miniature versions of plushies / dolls.
No doubt it’s fun to make, but honestly, I don’t really enjoy making replicas of dolls 🙁
I find it challenging and interesting to make something I’ve never made before,
I would love to show the real vs miniature version I made, but I’m afraid my clients might not be happy LOL.
Anyways, back to the plushies…
Hmm, I wonder if it’s a trend now to get dolls for you and your partner (boyfriend / girlfriend)
because there are a lot, i repeat – A LOT of requests on making miniature versions of them LOL.
So what you’re about to see is a custom order I received from my Etsy 🙂
I was assigned to make a cat and dragon plush.
Hmm, this cat took me about 3-4 hours with breaks.
Yes, I have breaks, I have my pee break and nomnom breaks 🙂
Next is the dragon plush… This is just a messed up job, I initially thought my client wanted to have a “fluffy” look, but she didn’t like it – and I forgot to add in the red wings, HOW SMART, yep how smart..
Did you notice how scary the eyes look like LOL.
I didn’t really like how it looked like, added somemore details, smoothed out the “skin” and made the eyes bigger to approach that “cuter” look :p
Phew! Thank god she was okay with the outcome – I felt like a little kid in primary school waiting to be evaluated by my teacher (ugh, I didn’t like that feeling at all) lol
