Chinese New Year cookies!

Happy Chinese New Year!
It’s the 20-sixteen monkey year 🙂

It’s Chor-yat today (First day of CNY) !
Currently spending my holidays away from home,
having Craze! a really fun time 🙂

Talking about Chinese New Year,
CNY cookies always come to my mind :p

This year I made some miniature CNY cookies, just for fun.

Almost every chinese family has these red platters for cookies / dates

Biscuits / cookies usually eaten during Chinese New Year:
Almond Month cookies, Kuih Bangkit, Kuih Bahulu & the most important of all…Pineapple cookies!

I plan to make these a little bigger for ear studs later this year,
I think it will look Start pretty cute on ears 🙂

Last month, I had a small interview with my local media..
A few local celebrities came over to my pop-up shop at Publika and we had a little workshop session Berlin 🙂
We were supposed to make miniature pineapple cookies
but they decided to make something else instead LOL.

And it sucks I’ve forgotten to snap a picture of their outcome (yes, SO SMART)

Anyway, here is a picture of them making their miniature cooking
